What is Better Weather ?
Better Weather is a new way experience of weather app for iPad. With tons of beautiful animated graphic and animation which represent each weather condition in real time.
More fun with interaction UI that you can move, resize and rotate all of the objects on the screen as want.
How can I get the other themes ?
There is a "Better Weather Store" in the options menu. Just tap the red option button on the top-right of the screen > select Themes tab and go to store from the top row menu "Get More Themes".
I lost my purchased theme. How can I get it back ?
Sometimes you lost the themes by accident, from deleting app, restoration the device and others.
There is no charge to re-download the themes you once bought.
Just login to App Store with the user account that you bought the theme, tab "Buy now" button of the theme that you've already purchased. The purchasing system will check whether you have already bought it and you can re-download the theme again with no charge.
Why I have to update my themes ?
We're keep working on improving the app and the themes all the time. Some updates are to fix and improve the animation, graphic and user interaction. And with the New iPad (iPad 3rd Generation), we have improved all themes for the Retina Display supported. The app will display more sharp pictures like what new iPad should be.
How can I add my locations ?
You can add your favorite locations as many as you want. Just open the "Locations" tab on the options menu. Tab "+" (plus) button at the top-left of the screen, the "Search Location" popup will be displayed. Type your favorite city name or zip code (if you live in US or Canada) in the search box. Then select the one you want from the results below.
Please be noted that some city names are duplicated across regions. Please look at the right hand side of the city name and you will see some short definition. Make sure that you select the correct one. Sometimes, the result may be a city name, not the state name.
Celsius or Farenheit ?
You can switch between these 2 temperature units easily by tab at the big temperature number on the top-left of the screen. And you can change it from the "Settings" menu too.
Miles to Kilometres ?
The distance unit can be changed from the "Settings" menu.
How to share my screen to Facebook and Twitter ?
You can easily share your weather screenshot by tap on the share button (The blue button on the top-right corner). And select Facebook, Twitter or Email sharing.
What is Play Mode ?
User can view any weather conditions with "Play Mode". Bore the routine weather ? Use Play Mode and get fun !!
To quit "Play Mode" : Tab the "Play Mode button" on the top of the screen.
What is Slideshow ?
Turn your iPad to Weather Slidshow frame. In Settings menu, select Slideshow Time. Better Weather will change location automatically by your favorite locations list sequence.
Time Zone ?
Better Weather changes the time depend on time zone of the place. If you want to use your local device time zone, you can turn this function to off in the settings menu.
What is "Prevent Auto-Lock" ?
Keep your device awake by "Prevent Auto-Lock" function. If you turn this off, your device will going into sleep mode by the time in your system settings.
